Wonmi’s WAREHOUSE Programs embrace the possibilities of live art. Celebrating performance as an integral part of contemporary artistic practice and providing space for experimentation and process, WAREHOUSE brings new commissions, music festivals, and residencies to The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA). The series considers how the body, movement, and sound can complement and unsettle the museum space—destabilizing accepted relationships between artist, visitor, and institution.
Wonmi’s WAREHOUSE Programs Spring/Summer 2023 creates a rupture—moments when performance and live art expand into every space at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. This is an opportunity for risk and experimentation, and for artists to lead the way.
