Join us for a special performance by artist Kilo Kish as we wrap our MOCA culture:LAB collaboration with Womxn In Windows. Lakisha “Kilo Kish” Robinson is a multidisciplinary artist, songwriter, and singer who has recorded with the Gorillaz, The Internet, Vince Staples, Childish Gambino, and Chet Faker, among others. Starting as a student of design, Kish has been heralded for her cross-medium approach as an artist. In music, she’s decided her own genre is “pophopalternatronica.” Additionally, Kish has exhibited films, installation work, performance art, and music technology projects. Her work focuses on personal identity, societal masks, technology, and alternative futures.

KILO KISH is an interdisciplinary artist working in music, film, installation, performance and the written word. Her work is characterized by existentialism, absurdity and humor, explored through popular media formats like songs and music videos. Her work has been featured in Vogue, W Magazine, The New York Times, Pitchfork, Dazed, The Guardian, and Billboard, among others. Her films have screened at the Getty Center, The Hammer Museum, and the Museum of Image and Sound in Brazil.
