Organized with Mandy Harris Williams in consultation with Liv Surnow, Music/Theory is a multi-genre cultural festival that presents musicians as cultural workers, theorists, creative practitioners, and of course, rockstars. Guests have the opportunity to watch their favorites take to the main stage on the Aileen Getty Plaza for their musical set and also connect in talks, workshops, and panels. Collectives, support and aid networks, and non-profits table in the hall providing opportunities to learn and connect, and ethical vendors will also be in attendance selling their wares! Food and drink vendors will be on site.

MOCA recommends all guests to wear a surgical, KN95, N95, or KF94 face mask while on MOCA premises.
Visitors 12+ who are unvaccinated are required to provide a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours or a negative Covid-19 rapid test taken within 24 hours. At home tests are not accepted.
Do not visit MOCA if you are feeling sick, have a fever, or have had any symptoms of COVID-19 or exposure to someone with COVID-19 in the past 14 days. A contactless temperature check station is in the lobby for your protection.
Maintain physical distancing. Stay 6 feet apart from other visitors and staff.

All visitors, including members, must secure advance timed tickets online. If you have any questions regarding exchanging your tickets or requesting a cancellation, please email tickets@moca.org. You may also call the MOCA Ticket Office at 213-633-5351 between 11am–5pm, Wednesday–Sunday.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in or around MOCA's premises.
Service animals are welcome at MOCA. Please note that pets and emotional support animals are not permitted. We are happy to accommodate ADA Service Animals in our galleries.
Wheelchairs are available for check-out at the reception or lobby desk. Just inquire with a friendly MOCA Gallery Attendant when you arrive on-site. Wheelchairs will be wiped down with sanitizing supplies between uses.
Please carefully read our health and safety measures before proceeding to purchase your admission tickets online. The Museum of Contemporary Artis a proud member of the Safe Space Alliance. MOCA reserves the right to refuse admission, control occupancy, or eject/remove any person without refund found violating the code of conduct or exhibiting unsafe, inappropriate, or disruptive behavior, or behavior likely to cause damage. Willful violation of the Code of Conduct and COVID Safety Protocols will result in the person being given a warning by MOCA staff or security and asked to cease and discontinue the behavior immediately. MOCA reserves the right to take immediate action at its sole discretion.
